The Plc, which tracks financial news and the latest news on stocks, bonds, currencies and currencies, said that its “Education video” segment was the most visited video of all time, overtaking “Tax Credits and Financial Advice” as the most viewed video of 2017.
The video, which has been viewed by more than 100 million people since its launch last month, also earned the most likes, shares, and shares of Plc during the same period.
The video’s YouTube page has nearly 10 million views.
The Plc video was featured in the New York Times on Thursday, with the headline “How to save yourself from getting screwed by your accountant.”
“Our goal is to educate the public on how to make better financial decisions,” Plc chief financial officer Robert J. Kelly told the Times.
“Our video provides practical advice on investing, tax planning, and personal finance.
The videos are available online for free.”
Ahead of its official launch, Plc said it had received more than $1.7 million in funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Index Ventures, and Andreessen Media.
Plc also said it was expanding the reach of its educational video with more videos expected to be released in 2018.
