While a bachelor’s degree from an elite institution is often regarded as a must for any successful career, the median salary for an education degree has declined since the beginning of the year.
The average salary for a post-graduate degree has dropped by nearly 7% year-on-year.
The median salary of a professional education degree rose by 1.5% to $62,000, and the highest salary at $105,000.
The salary growth was most evident for professional degrees in the health sciences, where the median earned salary rose by 3.4% to a whopping $104,000 in the year to February, 2016.
